Whoosh, the cold of the snow felt like ice cucbes. I had to do my brothers chores because he was sick, and it was winter. Right now I was going to the barn to feed and take eggs from the chickens. I also had to milk the cow and feed all the other animals. When finished my mom yelled, "Tommy your dinner is ready." "Okay", I said. When I came in I smelled fresh chicken with mil. My dinner was so good that my mouth watered for for, but my brother got sicker. Before I put my head on my pillow I hoped that my brother would feel better because I was "sick" and tired of doing his chores. I had to think of something. I DON'T WANT TO DO CHORES! In the morning I ate and went outside to domy borthers chores. When I got outside the cold on my back was colder than yesterday. It felt like frostbite. When I was outside I heard someone or something. It put it's hand on my shoulder. I turned around... I couldn't believe my eyes. He was better! My brother was better! I went inside. I started coughing. I was sick! My brothers sickness probably came to me. Well because I was sick my brother had to do my chores and I didn't have to do any! |

Braden was walking and saw a bike in the window. It said if you win the contest you get the bike. The bike was green and red. It was a big bike and it was cool. The contest is a marble contest. Braden goes to the contest and he wins the contest and he gets the bike. His family is startled that he won the bike. Braden goes to try the bike out. Braden falls a lot and he falls some more. After a while Braden gets the hang of it. He is like a pro now. The next day I went to school. After school I went home on my bike. Then I did my chores and ate dinner. I had the funest 2 days ever in my life. Dedicated to my grandad because he knows a lot about the Adirondacks. Return to Challenge |
